|WHAT: Workshops I & II - Workshops will focus on building the skills, confidence and independence of beginning/intermediate harpists. The program will be tailored to the needs of the group.

|WHERE: Newport Gallery, Squamish BC, 38055 Cleveland Ave

|BRING: Harp, harp chair (if you have a special one), tuner and key, music stand, note-taking supplies.

|CLASS SIZE: Maximum of 15 harpists

|LEVEL: Beginner /Intermediate

|Accommodation: Alison will be staying at the Howe Sound Inn on the nights of the 23rd and 24th. Accommodation may be tight in Squamish so book early!

Workshop teaching will focus on skills and tools for developing your own choice of repertoire on the harp. There will be a variety of pieces taught while learning these skills. Written music will be handed out during the workshop.

The setting of the Gallery is central, with beautiful Howe Sound just a short saunter down the road. Squamish will be a "happening place" during this time period with the Canadian National Windsurfing Competition and the Worlds Women's Windsurfing Competition on the 25, 26, and 27th. Book your accommodation early! Enjoy a meal in a local restaurant, and then return for the concert! Stay for a few nights and partake in the outdoors.
