Exploring Rhythm II (Intermediate/Advanced) Meet rhythms from other cultures (Balkin, Latin...) Having fun with Syncopation Putting it all together in a new way |WHERE: North Saanich Holy Trinity Church Hall 1319 Mills Road (behind church at corner of Mills Rd & West Saanich Rd - Map |COST: $50 (US$33) for one workshop, $85 (US$60) for two, or $40 each (US$28) for any 3 or more in series |BRING: Harp, harp chair (if you have a special one), tuner and key, lunch, note-taking supplies. There will be a variety of pieces taught in the process of learning the skills, with the written music handed out at the end of the workshop! The setting of the hall is pastoral, with beautiful Patricia Bay just a short saunter down the road. I envision busy pluckers, sunshine, lunch on the beach, and then back to work! This workshop is a continuation of a series that Alison started teaching during 2002.
