Alison's new Paraguayan harp has arrived all the way
from Ascuncion, Paraguay. It got frozen by CanadaPost
back East and suffered minor microcracking or crazing
to the outer finish as the result. BUT wow, does it
sound rich and resonant! This is definitely a harp worth
hearing. Ramon
Romero and his wife, Carole, helped Alison with
the purchase. Thank you! He is holding two harps of
the same model on his homepage
and in his website gallery.

I have ordered a new harp from Paraguay, so authentic
that even the harpmaker does not speak Spanish. Rather
he speaks Guarani the native tongue. It was the indigenous
Guarani peoples that evolved the Paraguayan harp from
the Spanish Renaissance harp as introduced by the Jesuits.
More to come next month. Learn
more.

of moving took 36 days from the moment the landlord
told us he was selling until today where we are now
