These rates are guidelines
as your event circumstances may vary from below. These
fees are determined usually by hourly charges and
incorporated sound equipment rental. A background
performance is usually defined as Alison performing
to provide a musical ambience where other activities
are the feature such as a reception or dinner.
Alison's rates are
in Canadian CAD$ (plus 6% GST). Please contact
Alison for an accurate quote.
Alison's music itself
is free. It is her gift to your event.
All her charges are strictly based on her time commitment
and level of Harpsound Audio sound equipment used.

*Artist Performance
Time - The Artist's performance
chargeable time shall be deemed to be from the agreed
performance start time to the agreed performance finish
time. The Artist shall endeavour be ready to perform
fifteen minutes prior to the agreed harp performance
start time in the event that the harp performance is
required earlier by mutual agreement with the Client.
The Artist reserves the right to arrive at the venue
at the time deemed necessary by the Artist for setup
prior to the performance
**Set-up Time
- A fee for additional wait time prior to a performance
is applicable should the Client require the Artist's
presence earlier than is deemed necessary by the Artist
for equipment setup and site preparation. The Artist
or her representative will remain with the setup during
the negotiated wait time. The Artist does not charge
for equipment setup and site preparation as deemed necessary
by the Artist.
**Other Clients
- It cannot be assumed that the Artist is automatically
available for an early setup as the artist often has
2, 3 or 4 paid events with multiple clients on any given
day. All quotes will include negotiated setup time requirements
prior to deposit payment.
Confirmation Letter
of Agreement - The Information Provisions as
agreed will be itemised in a Confirmation Letter of
Agreement from the Artist to the Client. The Terms
of Service for the Agreement are deemed as posted
on this page.
Contract
- A signed contract may be required by either the Artist
or the Client in lieu of the Terms of Service as posted
on this site. The Artist is free to release the date
and is under no further obligation if the Client fails
to meet any deposit requirement (50%) and (when required
by the Artist) contract signing. The Artist reserves
the right to waive (in writing) the deposit requirement.
Terms of Service
- A signed contract is available if desired. Otherwise,
the public postings with the same provisions as the
contract at the Artist’s website stand as the
Artist’s Terms
of Service.
