Your performance certainly added to the school's music program and children's knowledge. You handled the multi-aged and different grade levels extremely well and gave very interesting answers to their many questions. Having and using 2 harps was a worthwhile approach; then both Jeannie (primary music teacher) and myself expanded with filmstrips and discussion. I would thoroughly recommend your program to any elementary school. Trish House, Savory Elementary School Alison is a gifted harpist and her presentation to the class (Grade VI Music Appreciation) is well designed for students in elementary school. I highly recommend her to any music class or school for a presentation of an instrument with such a vast and great history. George Koenig, North Saanich Middle School |
