|WHAT:
Be a Balkan (Novice to Advanced
- something for everyone) In this workshop participants will:
- Learn to recognise a predominant
irregular Balkan rhythm (no clues here!)
- Practice the rhythm in the accompaniment
hand only.
- Learn the melody of a traditional
Balkan folk song (music provided)
- As an ensemble play the Balkan
melody and accompaniment together for wonderful rhythmic
and melodic results!
